LLOYD JARK VINTAGE VEHICLE COLLECTION AUCTION

LLOYD JARK VINTAGE VEHICLE COLLECTION AUCTION

SALE DATE:  APRIL 11, 2026
Start:  11:00 AM CST

Location: STRATFORD, SD

What are you doing on April 11th?  You will want to be in Stratford, SD that’s what!!!  This is a fantastic sale!
Lloyd is 97 years old and is a lifelong collector of antiques, automobiles and basically anything old!  Lloyd has been a tremendous asset for the community and has done a lot for the Town of Stratford.  He is a retired farmer who loves his family, friends and community.
Lloyd has always been very involved in the community and even built a small shop in Stratford for people to gather for coffee every morning.  He has served the community in many fashions.  He has served on Township and Town Boards, the Volunteer Fire Department and is a Charter member and current member of the Warner / Stratford Lions Club for over 50 years – just to name a few!  He is at every community event and until recently, you might find him in his skid steer fixing a pothole in the street or pushing snow.
Lloyd has been slowly parting with a few of his vintage vehicles and decided it is time to sell the rest now.  Many vehicles were originally bought on Barrett Jackson auctions and brought to South Dakota.  All have been sitting inside – some for a while.
While all of the vehicles were in good running condition when parked, not all of them have been driven in the last year or two.  A few get driven each year in the 4th of July parade, but many have been sitting for years and have old gas in them.  While we can rinse the dust off the vehicles, it may not be realistic, in this situation, to have the vehicles mechanically gone through prior to the auction.  As long as our weather cooperates, we will try to have as many running as possible.  We are grateful to Bernie for allowing us to rinse off and keep the vehicles inside his heated shop until day of sale.
UPDATE – Because the vehicles have been sitting for quite some time, we added new batteries and tried to drain old gas / add a little fresh gas.  Most started but we only ran them briefly because we do not know the condition of fuel tanks / fuel lines and did not want to risk running bad stuff through the motors. We got most of the vehicles to start and ran them briefly and then shut them off. We have not driven them to check on brakes, etc. Please use your own judgement when bidding.
NOTE – We will only have 1 Gas Pump on this sale!  Lloyd has decided to move all (but 1) of his gas pumps and gas pump globes to his upcoming June Auction.  We apologize for any confusion this creates.
We intend to have 3 flatbed trailers with Tin & Cast Iron Seats, Parking Meters & Various Collectibles!
LIVE PUBLIC (In Person) Public Auction at 11:00.  LIVE PUBLIC (In Person) Public Auction with Simultaneous Online Bidding at 11:30 AM.  This is a Once in a Lifetime Sale that YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!
